5 Affirmations to build self-love
and joy

If you struggle with doubt or believing what God says about you, here are five phrases you can add to your morning routine to help set your mind for the day ahead and build confidence.

Psalms 23 – Reminds us that the Lord is our shepherd, and we shall not want. He makes us lie down in green pastures and lead us beside still waters; He restores our soul… Take a minute to read through this scripture and allow it to soak into your spirit and remind you of God’s promise to you and how much he loves and cares about you.

Here are five phrases you can declare over your life today:

  1.  I am deserving of joy. I am worthy of joy. It’s ok for me to be happy and express joy; therefore, I embrace and welcome it. I awake each morning and welcome joy into my life. I feel joy. The joy of the Lord is my strength. Neh.8:10

  1. I don’t have to be perfect to be good.

  1. I am imperfect and will experience various struggles but I am worthy of love and belonging.

  1. God created me in His image and likeness; therefore, I have value. My worth is not based on what I can do.

  1. Confrontation is ok. I release myself from the negative emotions of confrontation. When people don’t like when I say NO, it’s about them, not me.

God has created you for more. So be strong and courageous, and do not doubt, He has deposited great things in you that the world is waiting for.
